Pet Crew (“we,” “us,” “our”) is an in-home pet care service based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly, in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

This policy explains what we collect through our website and waitlist, why we collect it, and your rights.


 Note: This is a general policy for our pre-launch waitlist.

 As our   services and data handling grow, this policy will be reviewed and  expanded.

  

1   Information We Collect

When you join our waitlist or contact us, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (if provided)
  • Information about your pet and your travel or service dates that you choose to share

We may also automatically collect limited technical data (such as browser type and pages visited) through standard website analytics.

2  Why We Collect It

We use your information only to:

  • Add you to our waitlist and notify you when bookings open
  • Respond to your enquiries
  • Understand demand so we can plan our service launch

We collect only what we need for these purposes and nothing more.

3  Consent

By submitting your details through our waitlist or contact forms, you consent to us collecting and using your information as described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see Section 7).

4  How We Store and Protect It

Your data is stored securely within our business systems. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it.

5  Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, our software and email platforms), and only to the extent necessary. Any such providers are expected to handle your data securely and in line with applicable law.

Under the UAE PDPL, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent to processing
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
